New rumor
The newest rumor is that the Administration wants to take over the Hangar and possibly other aviation maintenance space. This is unacceptable and would diminish the world class facility that was built specifically for aviation maintenance. We demand the reinstatement of summer classes and morning sessions. To finish the A&P program in a timely manner there must be a minimum of three classes at night and 2 classes during the day. The administration is saying that enrollment is low and does not justify the continuation of the program to its full potential. The truth is that enrollment now shows how strong the interest is in the program ;considering the lack of support by the administration , zero marketing and obstacles that are required to finish the program in a timely manner. The aviation club at WLACC is developing a marketing plan and will out reach to the community to increase enrollment - We are volunteering our time and doing the job that the should have been done by the administration in the last two years. If you would like to help with the club send me an email mercurybreza@gmail.com. If you are affected by the changes that have happened with the program PLEASE post your concerns - please let your opinions be know. The school was built for the students and you have the ability to help save the A&P program at WEST LACC. Spread the word !!!
